1. Maharashtra Day and Gujarat Day is celebrated in the Indian states of Maharashtra and Gujarat on 1 May every year.
महाराष्ट्र दिन आणि गुजरात दिन हा महाराष्ट्र आणि गुजरात या राज्यात दरवर्षी 1 मे रोजी साजरा केला जातो.

2. Labour Day or International Workers’ Day is observed each year on the first day of May to celebrate achievements of the working class.
कामगार दिन किंवा आंतरराष्ट्रीय कामगार दिन प्रत्येक वर्षी मेच्या पहिल्या दिवशी कामगार वर्गाच्या कर्तृत्व साजरा करण्यासाठी साजरा केला जातो.

5. The Reserve Bank of India extended regulatory benefits to all banks including those deploying their own resources to extend liquidity support to the mutual funds under the Special Liquidity Facility for Mutual Funds SLF-MF scheme.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने म्युच्युअल फंडांच्या एसएलएफ-एमएफ योजनेत स्पेशल लिक्विडिटी सुविधेअंतर्गत म्युच्युअल फंडाला तरलता आधार देण्यासाठी स्वतःची संसाधने तैनात करणार्‍या सर्व बँकांना नियामक लाभ दिले.

गुगल पे इंडियाने डिजिटल पेमेंट अ‍ॅपच्या सल्लागार म्हणून अ‍ॅक्सिस बँकेच्या माजी सीईओ शिखा शर्मा यांचे नाव दिले.

7. National Council for Science & Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science & Technology (DST) launched ‘Year of Awareness on Science & Health (YASH)’ a programme on health and risk communication with a focus on COVID-19
नॅशनल कौन्सिल फॉर सायन्स & टेक्नॉलॉजी कम्युनिकेशन (NCSTC), विज्ञान आणि तंत्रज्ञान विभाग (DST) ने ‘कोव्हिड -19’ वर लक्ष केंद्रित करून आरोग्य आणि जोखीम संप्रेषणावर आधारित ‘जागृती वर्ष विज्ञान आणि आरोग्य’ (YASH) लॉंच केले.

9. Scientists from the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG) studied rivers in Ladakh Himalaya. Their study found out the 35,000-year history of river erosion and identified hotspots of erosion and wide valleys that act as buffer zones
वाडिया इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ हिमालयन भूविज्ञान (WIHG) च्या वैज्ञानिकांनी लडाख हिमालयातील नद्यांचा अभ्यास केला. त्यांच्या अभ्यासानुसार नदीतील धूपचा 35,000 वर्षांचा इतिहास समोर आला आणि बफर झोन म्हणून काम करणारी धूप आणि ब्रॉड व्हॅलीजचे हॉटस्पॉट सापडले.

10. Legendary Footballer Chuni Goswami died in Kolkata after prolonged illness. He was 82.
प्रख्यात फुटबॉलर चूनी गोस्वामी यांचे दीर्घ आजाराने कोलकाता येथे निधन झाले. ते 82 वर्षांचे होते.
